The classes are live and depending on how the student works best, if they need more direct instruction, the teacher is there or if they prefer to work at their own pace and ask questions as they go along, thats an option as well. All the classes/sessions are tailored to each student.
What happens if a student misses a session?
Not a problem. If a student misses a session or class, we will schedule a make up time. Just communicate with the teacher and we will adjust. Life happens and here at Havenwood we get that.

Student’s progress is monitored through the interactions, activities, and apps that the students work on in class with the teacher, and they will assess the progress based on where the student began to where they are at that time.

At Havenwood, we are mastery based meaning we take as long as the student needs to master a skill as well as build the confidence to apply that skill in real world settings. If a student is struggling academically, the teacher will spend extra time on explaining the concept in a variety of different ways until it clicks.
